Mthente conducted research for the Cape Winelands Municipality. The objective was to develop a Tourism Niche Strategy (TNS) and Implementation Plan, focussing on sports and outdoor tourism; accessible tourism; and multigenerational tourism. The research study included a recommendations and ways to elicit buy-in from their key stakeholders.

Stakeholder Perception Survey for the Auditor – General of South Africa

Mthente undertook a Stakeholder Perception Survey for the Auditor – General of South Africa (AGSA). The survey evaluated stakeholder perceptions and expectations of the value and impact of AGSA’s products and services. It also assessed AGSA’s stakeholder engagement strategy and its impact on enhancing stakeholder relationships.

Research on the status of Black-Owned Manufacturing Enterprises in South Africa

Mthente recently completed an extensive research study on the status of Black-Owned manufacturing enterprises in South Africa for the Department of Trade and Industry’s (the dti) Incentive Development and Administration Division (IDAD), through the Product Development Unit (PDU). The study reviewed development funding available to B-OMEs and to determine appropriate interventions to develop and scale-up black industrialists in South Africa to become globally competitive.
