Stakeholder Perception Survey

Auditor General South Africa

The Auditor General South Africa (AGSA) commissioned a Stakeholder Perception Survey. The survey results were used to inform its stakeholder organisational strategy, so that could better respond to the needs and requirements of their stakeholders.

The data collected in this survey formed part of the baseline data, which will be used to monitor and evaluate future stakeholder perception surveys. The strategic intent of the research was to improve existing relationships with the AGSA’s stakeholders and inform stakeholder engagements initiatives by identifying and addressing any concerns they may have. The specific objectives of the research are to: gauge stakeholder knowledge and understanding of the AGSA mandate, products and services; investigate the extent to which stakeholders use the products and services; assess stakeholder perceptions in relation to the quality of products and services; and gauge stakeholder perceptions in relation to the AGSA contribution towards improving transparency and accountability in government.

A total sample of 1199 stakeholders participated in the survey.
