Facilitation of a Leadership Change Management and Team Building Initiative
Mthente was commissioned by the Office of the Premier, Eastern Cape to conduct an extensive six month leadership and change management programme with the top leadership and senior managers of the Office of the Premier. The focus of this intervention was to address the challenges facing the OTP leadership with respect to lack of unity and cohesiveness and ensure that there is no disunity, to help the OTP leadership do self introspection and understand how they have become part of the problem of lack of service delivery in the province, to help build leadership capacity, create an understanding of the work levels concept and inculcate a mindset shift to new economy behaviours and to assist the team understand what is expected of them and help the department elevate itself to being the ‘benchmark’ of the province.
